SUBMISSIONS FOR WEB & IG FEATURES
Submissions to PURPLEHAZE are always free and considered equally for publication. Standard publishing placement is currently approximately 4–6 weeks due to our active editorial queue.
We review fashion and beauty editorials, photography, art projects, and visual stories that align with the magazine’s conceptual direction and aesthetic. Submissions should demonstrate visual coherence, intentional sequencing, and a clear narrative or conceptual point of view.
For fashion and beauty editorials, we require unpublished, exclusive material featuring multiple designers or brands. Projects centred on a single designer, brand, collection, campaign, or lookbook are considered designer or brand features rather than independent fashion editorials and are handled separately through our partnership formats.

For art and photography projects presented as part of an artist’s own practice, previously shared work is welcome, including work already shown on the artist’s own social media. A post on your own account does not count as prior publication.
We also consider selected press and editorial pitches, including exhibitions, interdisciplinary projects, performances, books, cultural events, and collaborations between fashion, art, photography, design, and sound. These are reviewed separately from standard submissions and may be considered editorially at the editors’ discretion when there is a broader cultural, artistic, or conceptual context. Brand-led projects may be considered within this category when the story extends beyond the promotion of a single collection or product.
Optional, for social media consideration: Alongside your final images, you are welcome to include a short behind-the-scenes clip or process photo from the shoot (phone footage is perfectly fine). This is not required for editorial selection, but work accompanied by process material is given priority for features on our Instagram and web channels.
SUBMISSION FORMAT & FILE DELIVERY
At the initial stage, preview images and draft credits are sufficient.
Submissions must be provided exclusively through one of the following formats:
- Google Drive: A shared folder containing clearly organised files, with direct viewing access enabled.
- PDF: A single PDF presentation for initial editorial consideration only, with a maximum file size of 20 MB.
We do not accept submissions through WeTransfer, Dropbox, temporary download links, or other third-party file-transfer services.
If selected, the editorial team will request the final high or web -resolution files, complete credits, and any additional technical specifications. All final materials must be delivered via Google Drive.
We recommend providing images in their final, approved form, with appropriate colour profiles and export settings for digital publication.
PUBLICATION CONSENT & IMAGE USAGE
By submitting materials to PURPLEHAZE, the submitting party confirms that they hold the necessary rights, permissions, and authorisations from all relevant contributors to submit the work for editorial consideration and publication.
Submission constitutes agreement that, if selected, the materials may be published by PURPLEHAZE Magazine across its editorial channels, including its website, digital publications, and associated social media platforms, without requiring additional publication approval.
The submitting party confirms that all materials have been approved by the relevant creative team and rights holders before submission.
PURPLEHAZE reserves the right to determine the editorial presentation, layout, sequencing, and scheduling of selected materials.
Submitted images may be resized, compressed, reformatted, or technically optimised to meet the requirements of web, digital, and social media publishing. These are standard technical procedures and do not constitute intentional creative retouching.
Copyright remains with the respective creators and rights holders.
EDITORIAL REVIEW & RESPONSE TIME
All submissions are reviewed through a merit-based editorial process. Selection is based on conceptual strength, originality, visual quality, and alignment with PURPLEHAZE.
Due to the volume of submissions received, we contact selected contributors only. If you have not received a response within seven calendar days of submitting your project, please consider your submission unsuccessful.
We are unable to provide individual feedback on unsuccessful submissions.
Selected projects will be scheduled for web and digital publication following editorial approval. Standard publishing placement is approximately 4–6 weeks.
Publication is never conditional on payment.
A limited number of extended editorial and commercial formats are available for selected artists, projects, and brands seeking expanded print or digital visibility. These are entirely independent of the editorial selection process and are offered only after a project has been reviewed.

PRINT COPIES POLICY
PURPLEHAZE is an independent collectible print publication. As a general policy, complimentary print copies are not provided for independently selected editorial contributions. Complimentary copies may be included within commissioned partnership packages where specifically stated.
Contributors whose work is selected through the independent editorial process receive a 20% discount on one preordered copy of the issue.
SHIPPING & CLAIMS POLICY
As PURPLEHAZE is produced in limited collectible editions, all orders are carefully packed and documented prior to dispatch.
Claims for missing, damaged, or incorrect contents must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and accompanied by clear photographs of the packaging, shipping label, and contents as received.For quality control and verification purposes, PURPLEHAZE reserves the right to photograph or video record the packing and dispatch process. If the parcel arrives visibly damaged, opened, or tampered with, we recommend photographing the package before opening and contacting us immediately.
PURPLEHAZE cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, or interference occurring in transit once a parcel has been handed over to the shipping provider.
