HAZE.GALLERY is thrilled to announce the launch of its upcoming photography solo exhibition, „Festival of Life,“ which will run from August 10th to August 26th. The exhibition, curated by Irina Rusinovich, promises to be a visually stunning portrayal of the beauty found in still-life photography.

„Festival of Life“ is a celebration of the artistry and craftsmanship by Irina Brana found in capturing inanimate objects, transforming them into visually captivating works of art. This exhibition features the finest selection of still-life photography, displaying an array of themes, techniques, and styles that will leave visitors mesmerized and inspired.

Curator Irina Rusinovich comments, „Still life photography has always fascinated me as it allows us to explore the beauty and intricacy of everyday objects that often go unnoticed. ‚Festival of Life‘ is a reflection of the immense talent and creativity within the genre. It aims to showcase the wide range and depth of emotions that can be evoked through the lens of a camera.“

Visitors will have the opportunity to delve into the intricate world of still-life photography, with each exhibit inviting them to lose themselves in the mesmerizing details and thoughtfully constructed narratives.

About the artist, Irina Brana: 

Ira Brana was born in 1990 in Siberia, Omsk, in a Russian-Ukrainian family.

Since 2009, she has used photography as a tool for artistic practice. Thus, photography became for Ira the main activity and profession.

In 2014, she moved to St. Petersburg, and received a second German citizenship, as a descendant of parents who were suppressed during World War II on the territory of the Soviet Union. Since 2018, she has been studying the history of contemporary art, attending conferences and classes. Ira creates photographic projects and participates in exhibitions. Since 2020, Ira has participated in numerous exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other cities and countries.

Today Ira is a visual artist, many of her projects are based on photography, then transforming into various forms: modern still life, objects, photo sculpture, and video art.
