At PURPLEHAZE, we continue our commitment to supporting emerging voices in fashion, photography, and contemporary art.
For our upcoming Spring–Summer print issue, we invite artists and image-makers to reflect on the theme I CAN BUY MYSELF FLOWERS, a statement of autonomy, tenderness, and conscious self-devotion. Selected projects will be featured in the printed edition of PURPLEHAZE.
About the theme
This theme explores intimacy turned inward care, desire, healing, and attention given to oneself without witnesses or permission. Flowers appear as symbols of ritual, presence, and emotional maintenance. They mark moments of pause, self-recognition, and chosen softness. This is a space for narratives about independence that feels gentle rather than loud. About self-love that grows through gestures, routines, and small acts.
About bodies, interiors, landscapes, and emotions treated with intention.We welcome interpretations that feel personal, poetic, and visually honest from fashion editorials to fine art photography, mixed media, and conceptual projects.
