Synthetic100%natural presents “purple fluid” in Berlin

Synthetic100%natural presents “purple fluid” in Berlin

Berlin-Mitte, late on a June evening. Inside Quadrat Shop, fabric, sound and conversation came together around questions of sustainability, local production and the visual language of contemporary fashion. “purple fluid” is a collaborative project between Berlin’s Quadrat Shop and Polish fashion label Synthetic100%natural, created as an overture to Berlin Fashion Week. The project connects Silesia and Berlin through ideas of trust, freedom of expression, identity and gender, bringing fashion, art and sound into one shared space.

For the occasion, the interior of Quadrat Shop was transformed to host Jacquard Tests Vol. 3, an exhibition by artist Stach Szumski. His abstract jacquard works, with forms recalling deconstructed typography and medical imaging, entered into dialogue with the architectural design language of Synthetic100%natural. A specially created sound piece by fmttm extended the installation across the space without overwhelming the atmosphere of conversation. At the centre of the project was a limited capsule collection consisting of nine designs, each produced in an edition of four. Among them were a flowing kimono made from purple ECOVERO™ fabric and layered trousers whose lines evoke the movement of a viscous material suspended in time.

The collection marks a visible departure from the sharper, more geometric and minimalist language usually associated with Synthetic100%natural. Softer, more fluid silhouettes and an intense purple palette introduce a different sensibility, one described by the designer as genderless while remaining deeply connected to the body.

Synthetic100%natural is a female-owned label rooted in Silesia, Poland, with a focus on sustainable production, certified materials and local craftsmanship. Its garments are developed and made onsite in small batches, reducing excess production while maintaining a strong emphasis on tailoring and construction.

With “purple fluid”, the brand expands its established visual language into something more expressive and less fixed, using colour, form and collaboration to explore fashion as a space between cities, disciplines and identities.
