I CAN BUY MYSELF FLOWERS

By /FASHION/, /NEWS/

Independence and self-sufficiency are power. They are not the alternative for close relationships, but a foundation for them. Our heroine’s independence is a conscious choice and not an unwanted state. She is not “obliged to do everything herself”, while she claims responsibility for her happiness. “I deserve to be brought joy to, and I can do it myself”.

Buying oneself flowers is not a compensation for being lonely but a sign of self-respect. We see creativity as a way of living, ability to find joy in little things and to transform things in hand into an act of creation, as well as releasing inner freedom from cliches.

The story tells:
“You can” be strong, creative, independent and make yourself happy without regard to others.
“It is of value” to be able to find support in yourself, and it will make you stable.
“You don’t have to” be alone. A wish of intimacy is not a defeat but a part of a human nature.
“Balance is a key” – while keeping safe you may build relationships with a place for both self-sufficiency and having fun together.

The conception avoids extremities: it neither romanticizes loneliness nor depreciates independence. Instead, it offers a mature judgement, where self-sufficiency is not a destination but a stepping stone for real relationships.

ACCIDENTALLY AWKWARD | Roberta Lacaria

By /FASHION/, /NEWS/

Accidentally Awkward is a fashion editorial exploring the quiet tension between self-awareness and surrender. Shot on location across urban balconies and concrete rooftops, photographer and concept director Roberta Lacaria captures a mood that feels both accidental and deeply considered — a body caught mid-thought, a shoe abandoned on tile, a gaze that refuses to perform.
Stylist Martina Arcuri layers tactile contrasts — pinstripe tailoring against an oversized patterned coat, a ribbed tank beneath — creating a wardrobe that feels inhabited rather than dressed. Hair and makeup by Victoria Pastore strips the look back to something raw and undone, while model Laura Juknevičiūtė, represented by Infinity Management, carries the editorial with a physical stillness that anchors every frame.
Published on Purplehaze Magazine — an independent digital fashion publication based in Berlin, dedicated to conceptual image-making and intentional visual storytelling.

Scent of a child | Bade Fuwa

By /FASHION/, /NEWS/

How do we photograph a scent? In this project, I wanted to document the sensory echoes and feeling of early childhood love through the lens of environmental portraiture. By stripping away the noise of the modern world and returning to the raw elements of nature, this project isolates the feeling of safety and wonder. It is an exploration of love in its most embryonic form. A scent carried on from the past, a hand held in the tall grass, a beginning without an end.

YOU’LL COME BACK WHEN THEY CALL YOU | Elisa Tripepi

By /FASHION/, /NEWS/

You’ll Come Back When They Call You — A Fashion Editorial by PURPLEHAZE Magazine

You’ll Come Back When They Call You is a poetic fashion editorial exploring intimacy, emotional dependency, and the quiet tension between closeness and distance. Set against a muted, natural landscape, the story unfolds through subtle gestures, physical connection, and moments that feel both spontaneous and deeply constructed.

The narrative captures a fragile dynamic between two figures, where touch becomes language and silence carries weight. There is a softness throughout, but it is not naive. It holds a quiet awareness of attachment, of returning, of cycles that repeat even when we believe we have moved forward.

Styling remains understated, allowing emotion to take the lead. Neutral tones and fluid silhouettes blend into the environment, creating a sense of continuity between body and space. The imagery feels raw yet intentional, balancing vulnerability with control.

This editorial reflects a contemporary approach to fashion storytelling, where the focus shifts from appearance to atmosphere, from styling to feeling. It invites the viewer into a space of recognition, where beauty exists not in perfection, but in connection, memory, and emotional truth.

Keywords: fashion editorial, emotional storytelling, contemporary fashion photography, intimacy in fashion, conceptual editorial, soft aesthetic fashion, minimal fashion styling, poetic fashion narrative, PURPLEHAZE magazine
